How Does the Program Work?
In order for an Agent affiliated with RE/MAX to participate in this program, the Agent must become an employee of ABO.
A portion of the 1099 Agent compensation will be required to be processed through payroll by ABO. Once the enrollment process is completed, the participating Agent will be required to run a minimum payroll monthly based on 30 hours per week (or 130 hours per month) at the mandated minimum wage in the area the Agent conducts business.
Each Agent will be required to run a monthly payroll.
Funds will be drawn from the ‘Agent’s account’ by ACH prior to the designated pay date and will include:
- payroll and all taxes associated
- the expense of the health and any ancillary benefit plans selected
- workers’ compensation insurance
- a $89 administrative fee for each enrolled member per month
Payroll must be processed in order for the Agent to participate in the benefits of the program
ABO will initiate payroll processing for the first designated pay date after the completed enrollment. A detailed invoice will be sent to the Agent at least 5 business days prior to the date that the funds will be withdrawn. Payroll (including payroll‐taxes, benefit costs, workers’ compensation and administrative fees) will be withdrawn directly by ABO via ACH Debit from an account specified in advance by the participant.
You will be invoiced 5 days prior to pay date. Funds will be drawn from your bank account 3 days prior to the pay date. Click here to view the payroll schedule for payroll dates.
